What is Prip?

Prip is a walkie – talkie app that enables you to have instant real-time conversations with other Prip users as well as PTT Radio customers in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina.  Prip is available for download in most countries and works with any mobile carrier for both Android and iPhone.  No carriers, no barriers.  Connect to Prip from any 3G or 4G network or over  Wifi and use the service globally.

Where to Find Prip?

ANDROID

  1. Go to Google Play (aka Play Store)
  2. Go to the search box on the top of your screen
  3. Enter the application name “Prip” in the search box located on the top of your screen.
  4. Find Prip

If you cannot find Prip in Google Play,

  1. Make sure you are using the search key word “Prip.”
  2. Make sure Prip is available in your country

If I am unable to enter Google Play,

  1. Check to make sure your device still has a data connection.  You can access Google Play through your WiFi or your wireless operator’s 3G or 4G network.
  2. Google Play requires your device to be logged in using at least one Google account. You must log into this account. When you touch the “Play Store” icon it will prompt you to login to this account.

IOS

  1. Go to the App Store
  2. Go to the search screen
  3. Search for Prip
  4. Find Prip

If you cannot find Prip in App Store

  1. Make sure you are using the search key word “Prip.”
  2. Make sure Prip is available in your country

What devices can be used with Prip?

  1. Android devices with version 4.0 or later
  2. iPhone with OS 7 or higher

What are the minimum requirements to use PRIP?

  1. Android device with Android OS Version 4.0 or higher or Apple iPhone OS 7.0 or higher.
    Note: To find your Android version, go to “Settings” on your device, and select “About” or “About Phone.”
  2. Data connection (e.g. WiFi, 3G or 4G connection from your mobile operator)
  3. Wireless service with a data plan from a US mobile operator

My mobile service is from an operator in Mexico or Brazil

In some markets Prip is available exclusively through resellers:

  1. In Mexico, you must purchase Prip from AT&T Mexico
  2. In Brazil, you must purchase Prip from Nextel Brazil
  3. In Argentina, Prip is not available

How do I install Prip?

ANDROID

Locate Prip on Google Play,

  1. Touch “install” on your screen in the Google Play store.
  2. Touch  ”Accept & download” on the confirmation screen. The application will install.
  3. Once completed, select “Open” to open up the application.  You will need to subscribe to Prip to use the service.

IPHONE

Locate Prip on the App Store

  1. Touch “FREE” and then “INSTALL”on your screen in the App Store.
  2. Enter your password when prompted on the confirmation screen. The application will install.
  3. Once completed, select “Open” to open up the application.  You will need to subscribe to Prip to use the service.

How do I subscribe to or create multiple Prip accounts using the Web interface?

Go to store.prip.me and follow the signup instructions. You will be able to sign up for multiple lines under a single account. Each line will be under a monthly or annual plan.

I am already a registered Prip User. How do I access the Prip account from Web Interface?

  • If a user account is already created then go to Sign in page
  • Enter User ID/Password and Click “Sign in”
  • If you don’t remember your password, Reset your password using “Can’t Access Account?” link from the Sign in page
  • If you don’t remember email used during initial sign-up please contact us

How do I manage multiple lines from my account?

  • Once Signed in go to ‘Lines management’ section.
  • Add lines, Delete lines or Restore deleted lines
  • Upgrade line from monthly to annual
  • Assign User to existing line
  • Once a user is assigned to the line additional options are made available
  • Additional options can be displayed by clicking on edit button on the right which opens a drop-down menu
  • Additional options include Remove User, Resend Invitation / Reset Password and Edit User
  • The above example shows that user added more than 1 line to the account using “ADD LINES” feature
  • The user assigned some lines and one line is pending activation by assigned line user
  • The lines that were deleted will show number of days left for the line till the billing cycle expiry
  • Line Status can be:
    1. Active – line has an active user
    2. Pending – pending activation by the assigned line user
    3. Unassigned/Active – active line available to be assigned
    4. Pending Delete – still active line pending to be deleted at the end of the billing period
    5. Suspended – inactive line due to failed payment
